Why Aren’t You Playing? Making Games and Activities Accessible and Inclusive

Camp is an environment where we want everyone to be able to participate - yet when it comes to many beloved camp activities, there are individuals for whom it is challenging to do so fully. In this session, you'll explore creative solutions to this tension. Together, we will workshop how games, rituals, and other traditional camp activities can be modified for the benefit of every camper.
*Note: This session is NOT for individuals participating in the Inclusion and Disabilities Specialty Track

Rabbi Ariella Rosen is currently serving Temple Adath Israel in Merion Station, PA, where she oversees educational programming for people of all ages and abilities. She was ordained in 2015 by the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City. Ariella was born in Baltimore, MD, grew up in West Hartford, CT, and spent over 14 summers at Camp Ramah in New England.
