Don't Call it a Conflict...
Camp can sometimes be an incredibly intense and stressful environment. Each hour feels like a day, each day a week, and a full summer can make even a twenty year old counselor's hair go gray. In all of that intensity we know one thing for sure: Conflict will happen. You can't avoid it.  When we are aware of what our conflicts are rooted in, we are more capable of navigating our way through them.  In this session we will explore our own triggers and how they drive our conflict styles.  We will gain strategies to help us manage these triggers and skillfully respond to conflict head on.

Facilitating Jewish Conversations
This will be an experiential session. As a group we will work on modeling various Jewish conversations and talk about the values and goals of such a conversation. This session will help you identify what you are more and less comfortable with when it comes to “Jewish” conversations and provide some tools to fill those gaps.
Note: There is no prior Jewish text knowledge needed for this session, just a passion and excitement for exploring this topic.

Making & Maintaining a Terrific Team Culture
As leaders we all work to build strong teams among our Fellows, and camp communities as a whole. Connected and collaborative fellows tend to be more enthusiastic about their Cornerstone responsibilities and invested in bringing a positive impact to camp. Maintaining that energy and teamwork can be challenging over the course of a long summer. In this session we will participate in a variety of fun and purposeful teambuilding activities that can easily be brought back to camp and used with your Fellows and entire staff.
