Asya Gribov

Asya is a community organizer, family program curator, experiential educator, art lover, and world traveler. Following her passions, Asya can be found splitting her time between working with PJ Library on Russian-speaking Jewish family engagement initiatives, leading children’s art workshops at the Rubin Museum of Art, teaching at Cornerstone, and getting tirelessly inspired at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Most recently, she founded Mismatched Socks NY, a project that invites parents and children to learn about and engage with art through family friendly tours and classes all over New York City.
Asya holds a BA in Psychology and Comparative Religions from Hunter College but received her most valuable education while backpacking around the world and spending time in art museums. Not having learned her lesson the first time, Asya returned to Hunter College and received a Master’s in Elementary Education.
